WHAT DOES IT TAKES TO BE AN ICT STUDENT?

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is an umbrella term that includes any communication device or application, encompasssing: radio, televisions, cellular phones,computer and network hardware and software. But what does it take to be an ICT students?

An ICT students must good in all terms including technologies and other devices which they should learn more for they own job when they were graduated. Being an ICT student is a good job because you can learn a lot of things especially to all communications device or applications and its also a good oppurtunity to us in which we have learn those things in our very young ages. And in the future we can use this knowledge we learned and we can apply it in our everyday life.

MY DREAM ,MY FUTURE

Im always thinking of my future everytime I go to bed. I always thinking of my dreams and what will be my future. Everyone of us have their own dreams. Dreams that they want to pursue for their future and dreams that can help us to be a successful man someday.

Do you have dreams? Im sure you have. For me I dreamed to be a successful teacher and D.I. someday . I want this for my future and for my future wife and children. As of now I always studying hard because I believe that this can help me to pursue my dreams in the future. Be responsible, and learn to believe in God this are the best attitudes we should have to make us become successful someday. And If we continue dreaming someday our future will be better.

My dream, my future this are one of the things , I always thinking and the things that always comes to my mind. And I can only pursue this dreams If I will believe in myself as well as to God.

Change: It starts with me.

There are many meaning of change but for me ? I always define it as change for the better. Everyone of us want change. Change for ourselves, change for our community, change for our country, but change should always start with us.

If we not start to ourselves that what we call change we are not able to attain this many changes we want because first of all we need self discipline if we want changes. I want some changes in myself, community, and in our country. First, to myself I want to improve my grades because I'm too lazy to make my homeworks and project. Second in our community, I want change and I want peace. And in our country I want also change. I want to change some rules and regulation that is not good and cannot help our country progressive. This are the changes I want.

We should always remember that change always start with us.

KANNAWIDAN: THE YLOCOS FESTIVAL

The province of Ilocos Sur has recently celebrated its Kannawidan Ylocos Festival. This year marks the province’s 193rd year based on the Royal Decree dated February 2, 1818 separating Ilocos Sur from Ilocos Norte. Prior to this date, the stretch of Bangui in Ilocos Norte down to Luna La Union is called Ylocos which is a term to refer to the coastal inhabitants. It literally meant “from the lowlands.

During the celebration of Kannawidan Festival there are many activities and projects they are launching for all the ilocanos herein IlocosSur. And aside of these there are also competitions like beauty pageant, talent search, battle of the bands and many more. As an Ilokano , Im proud of this festival because this reminds me always the success of our native cultures. So let us all celebrate this as one.

This is Kannawidan Festival, the festival that can uplift and make our province Ilocos Sur progressive.

" NEW YEAR, NEW ME"

New year, new life, new attitude, and the new me. New year is the time for us to change . Changes for the betterment of ourselves. And as a student there are many things to be improve for my own good.


Education is very important to me as a student, because I believe that Education is something that we have that cannot take away from us, we can have money, fame, etc. but at the end those things will take away from you but education is still there to help you in our life. I am a lazy student because sometimes I'm not doing my projects, assignments, etc. and soon my grades are so low. And this New year I promise to myself that I will concentrate on my studies and focus more on academics. To study hard , this is the new me.

KEEPING IN MY OUR MOTHER TONGUE

Mother tongue is the language(s) a person has learned from birth or within the critical period, or that a person speaks the best and so is often the basis for sociolinguistic identity. In some countries, the terms native language or mother tongue refer to the language of one's ethnic group rather than one's first language.Sometimes, there can be more than one mother tongue, when the child's parents speak different languages. Those children are usually called bilingual.


This mother tongue is very important to us, we should always remember and keep in our mine this. Mother tongue is the first language that we have learned from our birth.Sometimes we can't remember this because we are using other languages rather than this. We are not aware of this because we are now living in a new world in which there are many changes and because of this we are not aware in our first and original languages. But I can say that we should give importance to our Mother tongue because I believe that sometimes we need this and can also help us.


We should give importance and treasure what we have learned to our MOTHER TONGUE. We should always keep in our mind and hearts our MOTHER TONGUE.

"EQUAL RIGHTS AND EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES"

God created us equal with equal rights and equal opportunities. It was stated at the bible that man and woman are equal.There are discrimination and not equal trait to us. Like a man and woman. But we don't need to argued and contradict to each other because we are all equal as God created us.


What a man can do, a woman can also. These line makes me remind that all people in the world even a boy or girl are all equal. We have equal rights and equal opportunities. Sometimes discrimination is existing but they don't know that we are equal. The best example are the boys and girls. Boys are stronger than girls but what the boys can do the girls can also do so i can say that we are all equal. And God created us equal so let us tag in our mind this.

Let us fight discrimination and promote equal rights and equal opportunities. Surely the world become peaceful and I can say that God is smiling when we always remember that He created us as equal.
